Privacy policy

Effective date : 1 October 2026

This English text is for convenience only. The Dutch version is legally authoritative. Privacyverklaring

In brief

  • What you send us is used to answer, to book time and to run the session you asked for.
  • We run no mailing list, no ad network and no marketplace for personal data.
  • Session audio is not fed into machine-learning datasets.
  • Rights go through [email protected] or the contact form; the Dutch DPA remains available if we cannot help.

1. Controller

Magyaranzo B.V. (“we”), a private limited company (B.V.) with share capital €100, sits at Maasstraat 47, 1078 EP Amsterdam, the Netherlands. We decide why and how personal data are used when they arrive through magyaranzo.click or through a booking: a quote, a reservation, a session, an invoice. Chamber of Commerce 77962751. VAT number NL875024166B01. Day-to-day management: Noor Bakker.

The rooms have been in De Pijp since 2019: 3 spaces, a live floor of 28 m², a booth of 6 m² and a control room. We use the data so we can answer within 1 working day, deliver Vocal and speech recording, Band and live recording, Mixing, Mastering or Podcast recording, and keep quotes, invoices and accounts. The GDPR and the Dutch GDPR Implementation Act apply. We keep the files away from people who have no task with them.

No data-protection officer is appointed; the size and the kind of processing do not require one. Questions: [email protected] or 020 737 0418. Hours: Monday–Friday 10:00–20:00, Saturday 11:00–17:00. Closed Sunday.

2. Scope

Readers of magyaranzo.click, people who write, call or submit the form, and clients who book the rooms in De Pijp are covered here. The Dutch page is the legal text; this English page is a translation so you can read it in another language.

When a company hires us to record voices, guests or session players who are not the contracting party, that company chooses the purpose of those recordings. We then work as a processor under the data processing agreement. Those people should look at that company's notice. Our own notice still covers the contact and billing data we need to run the calendar and the invoice.

3. The data we collect

Contact form. Name, email, optional phone, the service you have in mind, an optional preferred date and a short description of the project. Mandatory fields exist so we can answer; without them we do not write a quote. The form is forwarded by FormSubmit, a United States service — see transfers outside the EEA.

Booking and the job itself. Billing lines, artist or group name, whatever the quote needs, the email or phone thread, and the reference of a bank transfer. A deposit of 30 percent is part of the reservation and stays with that booking file. Card numbers are not stored here. The live room is planned for at most 6 musicians at once and at most 8 people in the building; those ceilings exist so we can schedule safely, not to profile anyone.

Recordings. A recognisable voice or performance is personal data. We handle it so the chosen service can be delivered. If your own crew films the day, that footage stays with you.

Technical traces. TransIP B.V. keeps connection logs (IP address, time, requested page, browser) to keep the site safe. The banner choice lives in the browser under mgrn_consent_v1 and holds no name or mailbox.

We do not ask for health, political or religious data. If a day has to move because someone is ill, “we cannot come” is enough; no certificate. There is no newsletter and no automated scoring of people.

4. Purposes, legal bases and retention

Personal data are not sold and not rented. We do not send sales mail. A new purpose is added only if it fits the original one, or we ask again.

Where we rely on our own interest, we check that the aim is real, that the step is needed and that your interests are not heavier. You may ask for a short note of that check and you may object. Business invoices are due in 14 days; that file sits under the tax archive above. Published rates, such as Vocal and speech recording from €95 an hour including 21 percent VAT, live on the service list and in the terms.

5. Voice, image, minors and machine learning

A voice and a face belong to private life. We do not put a clip of your session, a photo of you in the rooms or your name on magyaranzo.click or on a social channel unless you have agreed in writing first. Pictures on the site are generated atmosphere stills, not client sessions.

Client audio is not used to train, test or tune a machine-learning system, and we do not build a voice clone unless the person concerned has given a specific written yes.

A session for someone younger than 16 is booked by a parent or guardian, who supplies the needed details. Article 5 of the Dutch GDPR Implementation Act sets 16 as the age at which a young person may agree alone to an information-society service. The form is written for adults or legal representatives; we do not run a product aimed at children. Hands-on notes such as getting ready for a vocal take or planning a band day live in the guides and do not replace this notice.

6. Who can see the data

Only the studio team, inside their jobs: Noor Bakker (managing director and producer), Tom Visser (recording engineer) and Mila de Groot (studio coordination and scheduling). Others may see a slice, only for the purposes above:

  • TransIP B.V. (Vondellaan 47, 2332 AA Leiden, Nederland), which hosts the site, the mailbox and storage in Union data centres; their site: TransIP B.V.;
  • FormSubmit (formsubmit.co), which forwards the form into our inbox;
  • the accountant, under professional secrecy, for invoice lines;
  • the bank, for transfers;
  • a lawyer or court, if a dispute is open;
  • authorities that ask within the law.

Anyone who processes for us does so under an Article 28 GDPR arrangement. No consumer mediator is listed in the spec; disputes follow the terms and the legal notice.

7. Transfers outside the European Economic Area

Studio files stay in the Union, with TransIP B.V. in Leiden. FormSubmit runs from the United States, so a form submission travels through that service. We have not seen that provider listed under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. We rely on Article 49(1)(b) GDPR: the transfer is needed for the steps you start by sending a project.

To skip that path, write to [email protected] or call 020 737 0418. The request is handled the same way. After a booking, stems, references and scripts can travel on a channel we agree, without the web form. See how to export stems for a mix.

8. Security

The site is HTTPS only. Client folders are open to named accounts with long passwords and a second login factor when the tool offers it. Workstation disks are encrypted. The door at Maasstraat 47 in De Pijp is locked when no session is booked. Session folders are wiped after 24 months. 12 microphone preamps and 48 patch points sit in the rooms; they do not store personal data, the session disks do.

If a breach is likely to affect your rights, we tell the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens within 72 hours (Article 33 GDPR) and we write to you when the risk is high (Article 34). A network is never perfectly safe; once a file is here, the measures above apply.

9. Your rights

You can:

  • see your data and how they are used (Art. 15 GDPR);
  • have wrong or incomplete lines corrected (Art. 16);
  • ask for deletion when the files are no longer needed (Art. 17);
  • ask us to pause processing in the cases the regulation lists (Art. 18);
  • receive a copy of what you gave us, in a structured everyday format (Art. 20);
  • object when we rely on our own interest (Art. 21);
  • pull back consent without making earlier work unlawful (Art. 7(3));
  • complain to the supervisor (Art. 77).

Write to [email protected] or to the postal address. We answer within one month. A hard case can take two months extra; we then say so (Art. 12(3) GDPR). The request is free. If we have a real doubt about who is writing, we may ask for more proof. Ordinary studio mail we try to answer within 1 working day — faster than the legal clock, not a new right.

The supervisor is the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, Bezuidenhoutseweg 30, 2594 AV The Hague, autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl. Write to us first; most questions close quickly. Planning and free cancellation up to 5 days ahead are in the FAQ.

10. Cookies and similar techniques

A cookie is a small file a site leaves on a device to remember a setting or to measure visits. Local storage, beacons and pixels can do the same job.

magyaranzo.click does not drop measurement, advertising or social trackers. The only stored value is the banner choice under mgrn_consent_v1, kept for 182 days. The banner splits five groups — necessary, functional, analytics, marketing, preferences — and offers three controls of the same size: allow everything, refuse everything, or pick groups yourself. The four optional groups are empty today.

If a tracker that needs a yes is added later, we will say so and ask again. The full list is the cookie policy. Reopen the banner with .

11. Links to other websites

The site points to third parties, among them OpenStreetMap for the pin on Maasstraat 47. Those sites keep their own rules; we do not run them. The walk from the metro and the tram is written out on contact: From Vijzelgracht metro (line 52) it is about a 7-minute walk via Ferdinand Bolstraat to Maasstraat. Tram 4 (Stadhouderskade stop) is roughly 5 minutes on foot. On-street parking is limited; P+R or garages near Overtoom are easier.

12. Status and changes

This page describes how we work. It does not cut down rights the law already gives you. We may rewrite it when a service or a rule changes. The new text is published here with its start date and takes the place of the old one. A large change is mailed to current clients. Start date: 1 October 2026. Last edit: 1 October 2026. Dutch is the binding language; English is for reading.
