Mixing your multitrack
We turn your recordings into a coherent mix—balance, space and dynamics shaped to how you want the song to feel, in our De Pijp control room or fully online.

Mixing is where separate takes become a track. At Magyaranzo we work from your stems or from multitrack captured in our band sessions or vocal sessions: every element finds its place, transients stay controlled and the lead vocal stays intelligible without flattening the backing.
You do not need to be a technical expert to start. We do ask for tidy files, a short note on references and your delivery target (streaming, video, vinyl prep). Our guides explain how to supply stems; if anything is unclear we call you on 020 737 0418 before the clock starts.
How it works
Brief
You send stems, tempo, key and references if you have them. We confirm scope, rate and timing within 1 business day.
Import and QC
We check sample rate, start points and missing tracks. Edits or tuning outside scope are agreed upfront.
Mix and notes
First mix version as agreed. You listen on your own speakers; we apply feedback across up to 2 revision rounds.
Delivery
Approved mix as WAV (MP3 on request) plus short mix notes. Project archive kept for 24 months.
Who this service is for
Artists who tracked at home or elsewhere and want a second pair of ears. Bands that recorded in our 28 m² live room and want an external mix pass. Producers with a rough mix who cannot get the last 20 % out of their own monitors. Creators blending music and speech—though speech-first shows often sit under podcast recording.
We mix pop, hip-hop, rock, electronic and singer-songwriter material. Very large projects (film scores with hundreds of tracks) are quoted via contact.
What to send
Stems as WAV or AIFF, preferably 24-bit with one sample rate per song. Up to 48 tracks fall under the flat rate €185; more tracks or multiple versions of the same song are quoted first.
Follow our stem guide: aligned start points, clear folder names, headroom around −6 dBFS. Include a rough mix so we hear your intent, plus two reference tracks (for balance and loudness goals, not cloning). MIDI and virtual instruments can be included if you want sound replacement—that usually adds time and often bills at €88.
How a mix job runs
Offline mixing is our default: you upload, we work in a treated room on nearfields. You do not have to be on site; many clients across Amsterdam and beyond send everything digitally. To attend in person, book hours at €88—in the studio or via a secure stream depending on the project.
We start with gain staging and routing, group drums and bass, place the lead vocal and build outward. Volume and effect automation are part of the mix; creative choices are discussed on the first version so revisions stay focused.
Revisions and communication
The rate €185 includes 2 revision rounds after the first full mix. Bundle feedback: concrete notes per section or timecode beat scattered voice notes. Extra rounds or large arrangement changes (new stems, new structure) bill hourly or on a fresh quote.
We reply within 1 business day during Mon–Fri 10–20, Sat 11–17. For urgent work call 020 737 0418 so we can shift the schedule if there is room.
Delivery formats
Default delivery is a stereo mixdown as 24-bit WAV at the project sample rate. On request: instrumental, TV mix without lead vocal, or an MP3 for quick sharing. Files are named with artist, title and version.
Mixing is not mastering: we recommend a separate master pass for streaming loudness and EP sequencing. See mastering for streaming if that is your next step.

FAQ
How long does a mix take after I upload stems?
For a typical single, expect about five to ten business days after complete delivery, depending on the queue. Rush is sometimes possible for a surcharge—ask via contact.
Can I attend the mix in the studio?
Yes, booked at €88. You reserve a block and we mix live while you give notes. Without attendance we usually work faster on the first offline version.
What if my project has more than 48 tracks?
We quote from track count and complexity. Stem bounces (e.g. all drums on one bus) sometimes keep you in scope—discuss before export.
Do you mix material not recorded at Magyaranzo?
Yes. Most mix jobs come from external sessions. As long as stems are technically sound, origin does not matter.
Is mastering included?
No. Mix and master are separate. After mix approval you can add mastering here or elsewhere; we deliver a mix without a master limiter unless you ask otherwise.
