A compact Amsterdam studio since 2019, where engineering and scheduling sit under one roof.
Why the layout looks like this
Magyaranzo is tuned for takes you can still mix later: enough isolation in the booth, enough air in the live room, and a control room where listening is honest. We wired 48 patch points so drums in the live room and vocals in the booth can run together without cable sprawl.
Sessions run by appointment during Monday–Friday 10:00–20:00, Saturday 11:00–17:00. Closed Sunday. That leaves setup, backup and short notes between bookings.
The rooms
Live room (28 m²)
Drums, bass, guitar and keys together; up to 6 players with individual headphone mixes. Built for band sessions, not silent ensemble rehearsals without sound control.
Vocal booth (6 m²)
Isolated space for vocals, rap, voice-over and podcast voices. Pop filter, stand and water within reach.
Control
Recording and monitoring hub, linked to both rooms via patch and window. We review takes and export formats here.
Gear without brand shopping lists
We match microphones and preamps to voice or instrument — condensers for detail, dynamics for loud sources, ribbons where it helps. Conversion and monitors aim at critical listening, not showroom volume.
Drums, a digital piano and bass or guitar amps are ready; bring your own guitars and bass unless agreed otherwise. Service specifics on services and vocal recording.
Address and access
Maasstraat 47, 1078 EP Amsterdam. From Vijzelgracht metro (line 52) it is about a 7-minute walk via Ferdinand Bolstraat to Maasstraat. Tram 4 (Stadhouderskade stop) is roughly 5 minutes on foot.
