Accessibility statement

Last updated : 1 October 2026

This English text is for convenience only. The Dutch version is legally authoritative. Toegankelijkheidsverklaring

In brief

  • This statement is voluntary: three people on the team, not a public body.
  • We aim the site at WCAG 2.2 level AA, without claiming a certificate.
  • Known limits: atmosphere photos are generated, and the building in De Pijp has not been assessed as wheelchair-accessible.
  • Report a barrier via [email protected]; we reply within 1 working day.
  • The Dutch wording is authoritative; English is a translation for information.

1. Who issues this document

Magyaranzo B.V. publishes this statement for the website magyaranzo.click and for visits to the recording studio at Maasstraat 47, 1078 EP Amsterdam. Contact: [email protected], 020 737 0418. Opening hours: Monday–Friday 10:00–20:00, Saturday 11:00–17:00. Closed Sunday.

The team is three people: Noor Bakker, Tom Visser and Mila de Groot. The European Accessibility Act (Directive (EU) 2019/882), implemented in the Netherlands by the Act implementing accessibility requirements for products and services, leaves micro-enterprises that provide services outside the hard duty. We publish this text anyway, so you know what does and does not hold. It is not a certificate and not a full conformity statement.

2. Which framework we follow

For the site we use WCAG 2.2, level AA, and the related European standard EN 301 549 as our guide. We check with a keyboard, with a screen reader on a common operating system, and with contrast checks. There has been no external audit and we claim no mark.

The site is static HTML and CSS, without a heavy application layer. Pages have a skip link to the content, a visible focus, captions on photographs and headings in a logical order. Legal pages, such as this text, the privacy policy and the cookie policy, are written in plain language and carry a short summary at the top.

3. What we have done on the site

  • Text and interactive elements keep a contrast that takes AA as the floor.
  • Form fields on the contact page have visible labels; the statutory consent sentence sits next to the send button.
  • The cookie bar can be reached with a keyboard and has three actions of equal weight; see article 4 of the cookie policy.
  • Images have a short, factual caption. Decorative details get an empty or descriptive alternative, not a marketing line.
  • No automatically playing sound, no flashing advertising, no content that exists only as an image of text.
  • Bilingual pages (Dutch and English) have language attributes per language version.

Practical help for a session, for example preparing a vocal take or getting stems ready for mix, lives in the guides as ordinary HTML, not as a scanned leaflet.

4. Known limits

We know these limits and we work them away when we rebuild the pages:

  • Atmosphere photographs of the live room, the booth and the street in De Pijp are generated images; they illustrate the mood and are not a technical plan of steps or routes.
  • Rate tables, such as €95 per hour of Vocal and speech recording or €78 per master track, sit in HTML tables. On a narrow screen you sometimes have to scroll sideways.
  • External help pages from browsers or from the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens sit outside our code.
  • We have not had the site tested by an independent accessibility lab; visitor feedback is therefore especially welcome.

If you find a block that is not listed here, write to us. We put it on this list until it is resolved.

5. The building in De Pijp

The workplace is in a neighbourhood building at Maasstraat 47 in De Pijp, 3 rooms: a live room of 28 m², a booth of 6 m² and a control room. There is room for at most 8 guests per session, with at most 6 musicians at once in the live room. We have not had the building assessed for wheelchair access and we do not promise a lift or a step-free route. Anyone who needs a threshold handled, a quiet rest spot, a calmer arrival or extra time should say so when booking. We then look at what this building can actually do, without promising something we have not checked.

Route: From Vijzelgracht metro (line 52) it is about a 7-minute walk via Ferdinand Bolstraat to Maasstraat. Tram 4 (Stadhouderskade stop) is roughly 5 minutes on foot. On-street parking is limited; P+R or garages near Overtoom are easier. A map link is on contact. On-street parking is limited; P+R or garages near Overtoom are easier. After confirmation we send a short practical email.

6. Feedback

Report an inaccessible page, a form that stalls or a problem in the building via [email protected] or 020 737 0418. Name the page or the room, the browser or assistive tools you use, and what you expected. We reply within 1 working day and say what we can or cannot change. Formal GDPR requests follow the one-month period in the privacy policy, article 9.

7. Supervision and next steps

For digital consumer services the Netherlands Authority for Consumers and Markets supervises the European accessibility rules. Information: acm.nl. For personal data the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens remains competent: autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl. We ask you to write to us first; a complaint to a supervisor remains open if we cannot resolve it together.

8. Drafting and review

This statement was drafted by the Magyaranzo team, not by an external inspection body. Effective date: 1 October 2026. Last reviewed: 1 October 2026. We revise the text when the site or the building changes in a material way, and at least when we update the rest of the legal pages. Company details: legal notice. Booking or questions: contact or the about page. How a band day is budgeted is in the band-planning guide.
